Our pizza place for July was Oregano's. We went on a Tuesday night and were surprised at how crowded it was. There was an hour wait for seating inside, so opted for the patio which we didn't think would be too bad considering they had outdoor air conditioner and a misting system. But there was a lot of wind that day and with the air conditioner blowing hard at our table, it made it hard to eat. We ordered a thin crust pizza (again due to time, their deep dish takes almost an hour to cook) which TJ loved, but Josie didn't. The crust was a little too crispy and overcooked for me. We did have good service and the waitress brought the kids a little dough ball to play with which they loved. Jim and I have eaten there before without kids and really liked it, but this time we're going to give it 3 STARS (out of 5). We'll definitely try it again probably without kids and when we have more time to wait for the deep dish pizza.

The Tooth Fairy Is Coming!
Josie finally lost her first tooth last night. It's been dangling for a couple of weeks now. She was so excited, but didn't want to put it under pillow that night. She wanted to be able to show everyone her TOOTH. So tonight we're on the lookout for the Tooth Fairy!
Wow! You're so grown up now Josie! Love You!!

4th of July
We started our morning off bright and early at our ward party. We had a flag raising, which the cub scouts did, and a breakfast.
T.J. led us all in the Pledge of Allegiance
We had family over in the afternoon/evening for swimming, eating and water balloon games. We missed everyone that couldn't be with us. But we had a great time together having fun!
We usually have the best fireworks in town right in our backyard. But this year the church across the street postponed their fireworks show to Labor Day. (That just gives us an excuse to have another party!) But the kids had fun anyway with their glow in the dark stuff and poppers. Happy Independence Day Everybody!!!

D'backs Win!!!!!!
(sorry to those that read TJ's blog, this is a repeat)
Jimmy took TJ to the Diamondbacks game. They had a great time being together. TJ was convinced that they were going to loose when starting the 9th inning it was 0-5. He wanted to leave early, but Jimmy told him "it's not over until it's over". And boy were they glad they stayed. The D'backs came back to win 6-5 with no outs.
Aren't dads always right?!!

What happens when...
you decide to sit on the roof of a Little Tikes Car?
Someone will give you a push and you just might break your arm!
That's what happened to TJ on Sunday over at Grandma's house. He fractured his left arm. We were happy today at the orthopedic's office when he gave TJ a brace as opposed to a cast. We are very thankful, the break could have been a whole lot worst.
However, a very sad boy left the doctor's office being told he can't swim for "4 Whole Weeks"!! What's a kid to do in the summertime without swimming? He was encouraged to play video games to move his fingers a lot.
We love you TJ!! Glad you're okay!!
